TabTrade - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
