Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
